Psst! Hey, you! Yes, you! Have you been browsing for new posts here on Beacon Broadside? You may have noticed that it has been quiet as a tomb for a mighty long while. Well, there is a reason for that. Our blog sundowned when our blog host, Typepad, closed up shop in September 2025. So, there will be no new posts. RIP, Beacon Broadside, 2007–2025. We had a solid eighteen-year run of contributions by our authors, staff, and guest writers who continued the conversations started by our books. Going forward, this site will remain a Broadside archive.
